Lavera Rose Garden Shower Gel

Lavera are a brand whose products seem to make a frequent appearance in my household, ranging from hand soap to shower gel to make-up. There are even some of their men care products in the bathroom, although they're not for me of course! Lavera are a German company specialising in natural and organic skincare with no synthetic ingredients, parabens or SLS and they're also against animal testing. I'd have to say they're one of my favourite natural brands!

The Lavera Rose Garden Shower Gel was one of the first natural shower gels that I purchased (150ml for £6.45 at Naturisimo). It has a lovely rose scent, but it doesn't linger after you've showered so if you like the smell of your shower gel to stick around for more than 2 minutes this may not be the shower gel for you (I personally don't mind!). This shower gel doesn't particularly lather up very much as it's SLS free but I got used to that very quickly and it's great that it doesn't dry your skin out at all.

I think I will try a different scent when this runs out as Lavera also have several other shower gels including coconut, honey, lime and orange - I'll probably go for the Coconut Dream Shower Gel as I have a big love of coconut scents! If you've not tried any Lavera products before I would highly recommend giving them a try. Their products are easily available online or you can find your nearest stockist on their website if you prefer to buy your products in person!

Also, if you have tried Lavera products before I'd love to hear your recommendations in the comments :)

  2. This shower gel sounds lovely! I personally like shower gels and body washes that do not lather or foam because I notice these type of products try my skin out.

I have been looking around for a new natural body wash so I'll be sure to check this out :0)

  3. Aww bummer that the rose scent doesn't stick around for longer. I love smelling body wash later on in the day.

But gosh I bet it must smell good at first :)

I've never tried any of their products, but they definitely seem worth it!

  4. This sounds lovely, I am obsessed with rose scents and I am not worried if it doesn't linger it means it won't interfere with my body lotion fragrance. x

  5. I love rose scents and I wouldn't mind trying the orange one either. I've got tonnes of shower gels and such at the momen though so I'm not buying any! Although I'll keep these in mind as I hate when a shower gel dries out my skin which happens way too often!

  8. Sounds like a great product and I will probably get the Coconut one next ( I like Rose scents but I do prefer coconutty ones :) ). I wish it could be easier to find this everyday natural essential that are not too crazily expensive in the shop and not only on Internet..would make easier to purchase and to choose instead of other not natural brands.

  9. I've used one Lavera product in the past which was a moisturiser, skin felt amazing afterwards, but I've never tried their body washes. I may have to have a nose today as I've heard so much praise for this brand =)

  16. I'm still pretty much a soap kinda gal and I've been wondering, do people who use shower gels just lather them up by hand or do you use a bath towel/pouf?
