Sample Stash #8

I've had this selection of samples from Angela Langford for a while now and finally got around to trying them out. Angela Langford is yet another natural skincare brand I came across through twitter and I really wanted to share with you how wonderful Angela's service is!

Angela offers a really great "try before you buy" service where the samples are free and you only have to pay £4.50 for postage. This samples service is really different from a lot of others as you fill out a little profile about your skincare needs so that she can then select samples that are specifically tailored to your skin type.

I was kindly sent this selection of samples* to try for my combination skin, along with a personalised letter explaining which products Angela had chosen for me with ingredients lists and instructions on how to use the products. The samples come in a pink drawstring pouch in really lovely little bottles. Much nicer than the usual sample sachets don't you think?!

Sweet Cheeks Gentle Daily Face Wash (100ml £15.45) - this really did leave my skin looking clean and bright, but unfortunately I wasn't a fan of strong rose scent.

I Can See Clearly Now Gentle Eye Makeup Remover (50ml £11.75) - I really liked this blend of Jojoba, Castor, Argan and Thistle Oil. It made easy work of removing all of my eye makeup with just a small amount!

Perfect Pores Anti-Ageing, Plumping and Pore-Refining Face Serum (30ml £26.55) - Again this has a rose scent which I'm not a fan of, although it's not as strong as the scent of the face wash. I did notice a slight reduction in the size of my pores after using this.

Bloom & Glow Balancing and Calming Face Oil (25ml £22.55) - this oil sinks into the skin really quickly. I definitely noticed a healthy "glow" to my skin and it left my face feeling so soft!

Bright Eyes Firming and Smoothing Eye Cream (15ml £17.45) - I found this eye cream to be quite soothing under my eyes. I don't think I would purchase it though as I already have other eye creams that work for me at the moment!

(Full ingredients of all products are listed on the Angela Langford website)

I'm really impressed overall and would highly recommend trying out the sample pack service for yourself. It's a great way to try products suited to your skin type to see if you like them and I'm sure I'll try more from Angela's skincare range in future!

Have you tried any Angela Langford products before?

    1. I only tried it with normal mascara but I think it would probably work for waterproof mascara too because of all the oils in it :) x
