LoveLula Beauty Box January 2014

The arrival of the LoveLula box each month always seems to come around so quickly! (I've kept my beauty box subscriptions for #NoBuyJanuary as they were already paid for in December).

Inside the box:

The value of this month's box is about £20.00 (box costs £12.50 total including P&P). This box hasn't really "wow-ed" me on first impression for a few reasons; I only just opened a another Konjac Sponge recently, I've tried the John Masters body milk before and also I'm not likely to use the Balance Me body cream as I'm not a huge fan of rose scents at the moment! It's still a decent box overall though and I'm intrigued by the BiOrganics products so I expect I will report back to you on those!

What do you think of January's LoveLula box? Have you tried any of these products before?

  2. Okay... You don't seem to get much in the box, and no full size items (apart from the sponge but that is inexpensive) I'm not sure I'd be too happy to pay £12 for £20 worth of stuff that I wasn't keen on or wasn't brand new to me.
You can get sample sachets with any order on a natural website, hmmmm... this hasn't impressed me much but don't get me wrong - I love your post with it's beautiful pictures! :-)

    1. Yeah sample sachets are a bit annoying in beauty boxes when you can get them free elsewhere! I absolutely agree with you - it's all a bit hit and miss with the products really. I think I'm keeping my subscription until April then will have a break! Thanks for loving the pictures Rach ;) x

  3. I'm really curious about konjac sponges... I've heard good things about them. I definitely think they could have included a couple more items for £20!

  6. I wouldn't be wowed by this either as I'm not a fan of the sponges and like others have said, you can get some of the samples for free with orders from their site anyway! x

  7. Its always a bummer when you get something in a beauty box that you already. That happened with me with souksouk recently and a salt of the earth deodorant but the one I had was a spray and the one in the box was a stick and I actually preferred the stick! Plus my konjac sponge only lasts about 2-3 months so it'll be good to have as back up :) xx

  8. I subscribed to Love Lula aaages ago and after a really dull box a couple of months back I quit my subscription and switched to Birchbox (which has never disappointed me). Sometimes the products from Love Lula and nice but.. I always found they were a little disappointing :((
