Soapwalla Deodorant Cream

I'm changing things up a bit today and bringing you a review from my lovely fiancé's perspective - of a product that I haven't actually tried myself! I bought him Soapwalla's Deodorant Cream to try out last year in an attempt to replace his aerosol sprays with a natural alternative and I'm happy to say he jumped straight on the Soapwalla bandwagon! Here's what he had to say when I asked him to write a little review:

"I've tried almost every conventional deodorant and anti-perspirant spray available in the past. They'd all work well at first, but then stop working after a few weeks so I'd be using them several times a day. Soapwalla have found the alternative to being choked by the fumes of those ineffective sprays. I found it pretty weird to apply a cream under my arms at first, but soon got used to it after a couple of days.

One thing to point out is it melts in warmer weather, but that's not really a problem for me. You don't need to use much, and the effects are so long lasting that you only need one use a day. It keeps performing over time too - I'm near the end of my second tub now. It may be more expensive, but you get more from your money and this stuff really works. I'm converted! "

A pretty great review there for his first time right? (Hopefully I'll get him to do some more reviews in future)! Although I've not used this myself, I couldn't be happier as I can totally attest to the fact it works - yep, I've done the sniff test and he has never been less stinky in the years that I've known him!! He really likes the scent of this deodorant too which is predominantly tea tree with a hint of lavender and peppermint. Some people can find the Sodium Bicarbonate can aggravate the skin, but he's had no irritation at all in 6+ months.

Remember this stuff isn't just for guys either, it's a unisex product and I know a lot of the green beauty blogging ladies have used this deodorant too! It retails for £14 for 2oz/57g and is available in the UK from Content Beauty and abeautifulworld.

Have you tried Soapwalla's Deodorant Cream before?

  1. Nice review! indeed, I have read lots of good things about it.
    Isn't it too greasy though?

    1. He says he doesn't find it greasy as it soaks in quickly :) x

  2. Hello :) i made also a review about it but i found out that it works only for me during the cold season and that If i esagerate with it, my skin gets really sensitive, despite that Im very used to buy deodorants with sodium bicarbonate.

    Big kisses dear (:

  3. The famous Soapwalla, another glowing review, nice to have one from a male perspective, I would love to get my other half to ditch the Lynx that stuff is freaking horrid, I have to leave the room lol

  4. I use Soapwalla at the moment - I am still giving it a good trial before writing anything about it. Great review by the other half, well done him! I bought it because I miss the creamy, moisturising factor of the stick deos I used to use. The crystal one is perfectly functional but doesn't smell of anything or moisturise your underarms. Great review and lovely pic of the product too (your pictures are always great!)

  5. Great review, I'm impressed it works for guys as well! I wanted to try this deodorant for ages but I found Schmidt's Deodorant and that works great for me! :) xx

  6. Nice review from your other half! I might get Paul to do a review on his new natural goodies that he bought (I may have had a say in this)...hehehe! I'm using a Lavanila one at the minute but it just broke and it ended up in the lid and I can't get it back out so I'll put this on my wishlist for when I next order from ABW!

  7. Haha I love how you got your man to review! Been thinking about doing the same with some Bodhi products my boyfriend is using😊 I haven't been using this product for very long, only a week or so so I don't want to say too much just yet but I think it's been beyond expectation for me so far. And that's always positive! I really hope that I don't get a rash with continued use like others as I'm really loving this product right it was encouraging to read that your other half hasn't experienced anything negative from the 6+ months of use! But then again, everyone's body reacts differently so we'll just have to wait and see. Great review and lovely pics!! Xxx

  8. Such a good idea to get him to do a review! I honestly had no idea that you could get cream deodorant. I always use the roll on deodorants but I'm guessing they still can't be good for you and I do always find that they stop having an effect over time. This cream deodorant sounds great!
