Pai is one of the first brands that springs to mind when thinking of popular natural skincare. Not only are they a huge hit within the green beauty community, they're a well known brand for "mainstream" beauty lovers too. I've been exclusively using natural and organic products for almost two years now, so it's crazy to think it's taken me so long to finally try Pai Skincare.
At the start of this year on my beauty bucket list I mentioned I wanted to try Pai, so I was excited when Onlynaturals offered to send over Pai's Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser*. Surprisingly, this is the first cream cleanser I've ever used (you'll know by now I love a good oil/balm!) but now I already couldn't imagine not having this cleanser on my bathroom shelf!
Firstly, I think the packaging is just perfect. The pump dispenses exactly the right amount of product and it has an ingenious automatic seal that opens and closes when you press down on the pump - thumbs up for hygiene! It also comes with an organic muslin cloth to remove the cleanser. Personally, I find this particular cloth a little too abrasive for everyday use, so I'll use it around once or twice a week for extra exfoliation and switch to softer cloths for daily use.
This cleanser has definitely become one of those products I look forward to using. It manages to remove dirt and impurities effectively, even though it's so gentle, leaving the skin softened, hydrated and balanced. I've been so impressed with how well it manages to remove makeup and I can easily use it over my eyes too with no irritation. The scent is quite subtle, so although I'm not generally keen on floral rose notes, it's not at all overpowering.
Made with 80% organic ingredients, the Camellia & Rose Cleanser is priced to reflect the high quality at £28 for 100ml. This is a lot more than I would usually be prepared to pay for a cleanser to be honest, but having tried it out for myself for the past few weeks I really do think it's worth it! I think this gentle cleanser would work well for all skin types, and I would especially recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin.
Have you tried this cleanser or any other Pai Skincare products before?
