Brand Spotlight - Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics

Towards the start of the year, I had the pleasure of being introduced to Australian owned brand Ere Perez when they launched here in the UK at Naturisimo. The range consists of natural makeup (made with simple oils, plant extracts and minerals) and the shades are all fairly neutral and versatile to suit all skin types. I'd seen the products pop up quite a lot on social media since last year so I was intrigued to try some of the range myself!

This was the very first product created for Ere Perez's range and is still the best-selling product. It has great pigmentation and gives a lovely added length to my lashes, although it doesn't create much volume. The formula is quite dry which makes it easy to layer up - I usually like just one coat on the bottom lashes and 3 coats on the top lashes to build up to a slightly more obvious look! I love that it's really long lasting with no flaking or clumping at all and I think the almond oil has helped to strengthen my lashes too.

I'm not much of a blush wearer, but the warm tan colour of this particular blush duo makes it more like a bronzer to warm up lighter complexions. The colour payoff isn't great, but that actually makes it much easier to apply and build up gradually for a more subtle look that is much more "me"! I think the best way to use this is with a fluffy powder brush to dust over the high points of the face, where the sun would naturally fall. I find it lasts about 3-4 hours before needing a touch-up. The plastic packaging of this one does feel quite flimsy and clunky, but it does look better than it feels!

I'm not sure if this is a common problem with these products or if I was just unlucky, but the pan wasn't properly stuck down to the base of the compact, so I've had to transfer it to my magnetic palette instead. Forgetting the packaging hiccup, this is my favourite product of the bunch as the actual highlighter itself is gorgeous! It's a pigmented iridescent cream highlighter which I'd describe as an almost rose gold shade and it's perfect for illuminating cheekbones and browbones. It also has a subtle vanilla scent and I think I might even like it as much as my favourite RMS Living Luminizer!

Overall, despite the fact that I wish the packaging was a little less plastic and a little more eco-luxe, I've been impressed with the performance of Ere Perez products and look forward to trying more from the brand - I'm thinking of trying the Eye Pencil next! Ere Perez products range from £14-£25 and can be found online in the UK (with worldwide shipping) at Naturisimo.
